Automations
Build your message templates, fire automatic sends at the right moment, and coordinate your team's tasks.
ZenHost gathers your automations under a single Automations menu. You'll find:
- Message templates — your reusable texts (multi-language), so you only write once what you send to dozens of guests.
- Message automations — the rules that send a template automatically at the right moment (booking created, X hours before arrival, X days after departure, etc.).
- Shortcodes — the dynamic placeholders (
{{guest_name}}, etc.) — already covered in the Guest communication → Shortcodes pillar. - Tasks — operational task management assignable to a teammate or a team (cleaning, maintenance, check-in, inspection).
How to read this section
- Message templates — create, edit, and organize your template catalogue, with languages, subjects, and shortcodes.
- Message automations — bind a template to a trigger (a booking event), pick a delay and a channel, filter by property, enable or disable.
- Tasks — the task list, statuses, priorities, types, and the task-template system with checklists.
