Smart locks: TTLock
Connect TTLock and distinguish connected, offline and static codes.
Connect an account and link a device
In Integrations → TTLock, connect an account with an internal name, the TTLock account username and its password. You can connect several accounts. If an account needs reconnection, use Reconnect: existing property links are kept.
Open Locks on the property, select the account and lock, then save the link for the relevant access scope (unit, building, parking…). Check the detected connection and displayed codes. Connected or offline mode comes from the device; it is not an override you choose in ZenHost.
Three code types
| Type | How it works and limits |
|---|---|
| Connected code | ZenHost sends creation, time changes and revocation to the lock through the provider. Success depends on connectivity; check warnings and the result. |
| Offline code | ZenHost obtains a code calculated by the provider. A date change may produce a new code. The old code cannot be removed remotely and may still open the lock. |
| Static key-box code | Change the code on the box, then update the property's record. It is shared across stays and is not cancelled with a booking. |
A gateway alone does not guarantee a connected code: some older TTLock devices only support offline codes. Their actual duration can extend beyond departure because the provider uses fixed durations. Read the displayed effective expiry, rather than inferring it from stay dates.
Prepare arrival
Codes follow the stay's operational times, which may include a host change or a confirmed system upsell. The guest's estimated time remains informational.
An offline code must be used for the first time within 24 hours of its validity start. If unused by then, a new code suitable for arrival is needed. Check the displayed window before sharing it.
Date changes or cancellation
A connected code can be updated on the lock; a replaced offline code may still work during its old window. “Revoked” in ZenHost does not mean an offline code has disappeared from the lock.
When cancelling, read warnings about codes still active or operations pending retry. Arrange on-site action using the manufacturer's app and procedures if physical access must be closed. Do not tell the owner that all access is removed based solely on the booking status.
