Anatomy of a booking

The booking page brings together the stay, guest and related operations. Cards depend on available data, property configuration and your role permissions.

Overview and notes

The header shows the guest, dates, status, label if any, and action menu. With Bookings write access, the label badge (or Add a label) opens Pick a label: the workspace labels, None to remove it, New label to create and assign in one step, Manage labels to reach the dedicated page (see Month view). Read-only roles see the badge alone. Overview presents dates, guests, operational times and property. Dates and guests can be edited for manual direct or ZenHost website bookings; for Airbnb or Booking.com use the original channel. Operational times can still be edited in ZenHost for a non-cancelled stay.

Switch a card to edit mode, then save its changes. Notes have their own save action; typing is not automatically saved. The guest's estimated time is separate from the operational time.

Guest and access

The Guest card appears when a guest is linked; its link opens the CRM record. Access codes depend on codes being available for the stay. Check code type and validity: Nuki, TTLock, offline and static codes.

The Portal card lets you copy the link and, separately, its access code. It does not show an expiry setting. See the guest portal for access and closure conditions.

Extras and payments

Add an extra selects an available item from the property's catalogue; its price and quantity can be adjusted. This form does not create an off-catalogue extra. A cancelled but paid extra still needs a separate refund or check.

Pricing summarizes nights, fees and taxes, with completed and pending payments. Open Payments for other statuses and detailed tracking. An invoice or displayed total is not proof of collection.

Invoices lets you copy the stay link and, where separate extras invoicing applies, the extras link. Check seller details in the invoice guide.

Deposit shows the request and status, and allows creation or editing while pending. A created request is not yet a bank authorization: see deposits.

Reviews

A Reviews section appears depending on the channel, permissions and stay eligibility. It concerns received reviews and allowed actions, not guest chat. The Reviews guide explains public replies and reviews of Airbnb guests.

Before cancelling

Read edit or cancel a booking: channel cancellation, refunds, scheduled messages and access codes have distinct consequences. A missing card does not necessarily indicate missing permissions; also check its display conditions.
