Property Manager — Owners
The directory of owners you manage in property-management mode: legal info, contact, taxes.
The Property Manager module is built for property-management companies: organizations managing listings on behalf of third-party owners and billing them a commission. This page covers the first building block: the owner directory.
If you only manage your own properties, this module isn't for you — feel free to skip this section.
Open the list
Property Manager → Owners menu. The page lists every owner registered in your workspace.
Important distinction: an Owner in the Property Manager sense is the physical owner of the listing (your client), not a workspace member or a guest. Members are managed under Members; guests under Guests.
Create an owner
Create owner button. The form covers four blocks:
1. General info
- Legal company name — the legal name of the owning entity (required).
- Email — contact address (required).
- Phone (required).
- Website (optional) — valid URL expected.
2. Billing address
Full address: street, city, postal code, state/region, country. Used on invoices issued to the owner.
3. Taxes & terms
- Tax ID — e.g. SIRET in France, or local equivalent.
- Invoice terms — free-form text shown on invoices (legal mentions, payment terms, etc.).
On save, the owner is created and shows up in the list.
Owner detail view
Clicking an owner opens the detail page with several tabs:
- General — edit general info.
- Billing address — edit the address.
- Taxes & terms — edit tax ID and terms.
- Associated properties — the list of your workspace's listings attached to this owner (read-only here; the attachment happens from a property's record, in the Owner section).
- Invoices — the list of invoices already issued to this owner (see Property Manager → Billing).
Attach a property to an owner
The attachment happens from a property's record (see Anatomy of a property's detail page). The Owner section offers a selector listing the owners you've created. On save, the listing appears in the Associated properties list on the owner side.
A property can have only one owner at a time (in Property Manager mode). For co-ownership cases, create an owner like "SCI Marc & Sophie" that bundles the rights holders.
Permissions
Access to the Property Manager module (read / write) is gated by the matching permissions (the Property Manager category in the role matrix). Read on properties is also required to see the Associated properties tab.
To give an internal accountant access, create a custom role with Read on Property Manager and Read on Properties — they'll be able to consult owner records and invoices without modifying billing rules.
