Team settings

Workspace name, slug, logo, primary-ownership transfer, deletion.

Beyond your personal account, each team workspace (your concierge company, your management firm, or simply your owner-host operation) has its own settings.

Access happens via the Settings menu inside your team workspace (and requires the Manage settings permission on your role — typically reserved to the primary owner and administrators).

Name and slug

  • Team name — shown in the workspace list, on internal invoices, in the navigation bar. Editable anytime.
  • Slug — the identifier used in ZenHost URLs. Can be auto-generated from the name or customized. Must be unique. Changing it updates all your internal URLs; previously shared links keep working via redirect.

Upload a logo representing your concierge company or brand. Appears:

  • On your workspace's navigation bar.
  • On invoices issued to owners (Property Manager mode — see Team & Property Manager → Property Manager Billing).
  • On internal communication emails where applicable.

Transfer primary ownership

The primary owner is the unique person with maximum rights on the workspace (creating custom roles, transferring ownership, deleting the workspace). To transfer to another member:

  1. The receiving member must already have the Owner role (otherwise, assign it first from Members).
  2. Transfer primary ownership action in settings.
  3. Pick the receiving member, confirm.

Permanent. Once the transfer is done, you are no longer the primary owner. You keep the Owner role (and thus access), but you can't create custom roles anymore or reclaim primary ownership (unless re-transferred from the new primary owner).

Leave the team

To remove yourself from a team workspace (without deleting it):

  1. Leave team action in settings.
  2. ZenHost asks you to type LEAVE to confirm.

You lose access, but the workspace keeps running for the other members. If you are the primary owner, you must first transfer primary ownership before you can leave.

Danger zone: delete team

Reserved to the primary owner. Delete team action:

  1. ZenHost asks you to type the exact team name to confirm.
  2. Deletion:
    • Cancels every active subscription tied to the workspace.
    • Deletes every property, booking, guest, expense, invoice, automation.
    • Removes access for every invited member.
    • Does not delete their personal ZenHost account.

Permanent. The operation is irreversible — no trash, no recovery. For a temporary suspension, deactivate your subscription instead (you keep your data, the service is paused). See Subscription & billing.

Permissions on settings

Access to the Settings page and modifying fields require the Manage settings permission in your role. Billing management, ownership transfer, and workspace deletion require additional specific permissions. All of those are configured from Members → Manage Custom Roles.
