The signup flow

The three screens that greet you on first sign-in: welcome, about you, and choosing your plan.

On your first sign-in, ZenHost takes you through three screens before opening up your dashboard. This page describes what you see on each one and what happens when you move forward.

1. Welcome on board

First screen after signup. The title reads "Welcome on board" and there's a single button: Let's gooo. Clicking it takes you to the next step.

2. Let's personalize your experience

Second screen (step 1 of 3 in the progress indicator). You fill in:

  • First name — how should we call you.
  • Phone — for priority assistance and a direct line with the ZenHost team when you need it.
  • How many properties do you manage? — pick the bracket that fits, from "0 property" to "250+ properties".
  • What describes you best? — four profiles to choose from:
    • Property manager: I manage properties for owners.
    • Investor / Owner: I own and rent out my properties.
    • Agency: I run a property management company.
    • Professional subletter: I sublet properties I rent.

The submit button reads Next: Choose your plan. On submit, your team workspace is created automatically and you move on to billing.

3. Unlock all features

Third screen: choosing your plan. You'll find:

  • The available plans with monthly and annual pricing.
  • A field to apply a promo code if you have one.
  • A summary of what's included ("Here is everything you'll get").
  • The main call to action: Start for FREE today! if a free trial applies, or Get started today! otherwise.

Payment is handled by Stripe in a secure environment. You can cancel anytime, hassle-free. While the subscription is being set up, the screen cycles through:

  1. "Payment received!"
  2. "Setting up your account..."
  3. "Almost done!"

What happens next

Once your plan is set and the payment goes through, ZenHost drops you on the Setup Wizard page. It surfaces the ten onboarding steps grouped into six families: Properties & Platforms, Reservations, Automation, Team, Revenue, Mobile app.

At any point, you can skip a step, skip all to go straight to your calendar, or simply leave the wizard — your progress is saved and the "Setup in progress" widget reappears on your dashboard until every step is complete (see The setup widget).

If you leave mid-flow

Your progress is preserved. On your next sign-in you pick up where you left off: on the Let's personalize your experience screen if you didn't finish it, on the plan selection if you were past the profile step, or straight on your dashboard if you had already reached the Setup Wizard.
