Connect Booking.com to ZenHost
Connect a Booking.com property from its ZenHost property page and check links, rates and bookings.
Set up Booking.com from the relevant property in ZenHost. The page contains a connection panel for configuring the establishment and its links. The steps below distinguish what you do in ZenHost from what you do in the Booking.com extranet.
1. Prepare the property
The property must already exist in ZenHost. If you imported it from Airbnb, reuse that record: do not create a second property for Booking.com.
Have access to the Booking.com extranet and the establishment’s property ID ready. Check ZenHost prices, availability and minimum stays before enabling their transmission. If you are changing tools, plan the transition with support.
2. Open the connection in ZenHost
- Open Properties, choose the property, then Integrations.
- In the Booking connection card, click Access Booking.com connexion settings, or Edit if a connection is already displayed.
- The configuration panel appears directly inside the ZenHost page. Use its controls to create or edit the connection; its buttons may be displayed in English.
If the button is missing, check your integration management permissions. If the panel does not load, reload the page. If the error persists, contact support with the property and the displayed message.
3. Authorize the connection in Booking.com
In the extranet, open Account → Connectivity provider. Search for and select Channex.io as the provider, then follow the connection request and approve the permissions.
A pending request does not mean synchronization is active. Then return to the property’s Booking.com page in ZenHost.
4. Link rooms and rates
In the connection panel:
- Create the Booking.com connection, or open the existing one.
- Enter the establishment’s property ID and check the selected ZenHost property.
- Run the available connection test.
- Match each listed room and rate to its ZenHost equivalent. Use identifiers when names look alike.
- Save the links.
If a room or rate has no identifiable equivalent, have support check the links before activation.
5. Activate the channel and retrieve future bookings
Stay in the connection panel displayed inside ZenHost:
- Find the Booking.com channel for the relevant establishment.
- Open Actions → Activate to activate the channel. If it is already active, continue to the next step.
- Run Pull Future Reservations to retrieve bookings already on Booking.com for upcoming stays.
- Wait for them to arrive, then open Bookings in ZenHost to check the retrieved stays.
Saving the links is not enough: activate the channel, then retrieve future bookings. This does not replace importing a history of past stays. Some details of retrieved bookings may be incomplete; also check availability on Booking.com after the import.
6. Check before finishing
Return to Property → Integrations to review the Booking.com status. Then check:
- future bookings: property, dates, reference and status;
- a few open and blocked nights, and their prices on Booking.com;
- rate plans and minimum stays in the extranet;
- the total for a stay, including Booking.com fees, taxes and promotions.
Saving, activating and confirming synchronization are separate steps. Bookings and their updates arrive from Booking.com; availability, prices and restrictions are sent from ZenHost according to the active connection. Instant synchronization is not guaranteed.
What this connection does not replace
Manage listing photos, descriptions and promotions on Booking.com. Changes to a Booking.com reservation’s dates or occupants, and cancellations, also start on Booking.com: see Where to manage what.
The connection does not guarantee a complete history or every detail of older stays. If future bookings are missing, have the connection checked before entering them again. To complete missing history, use Import historical bookings from CSV.
