Airbnb migration

This page helps you prepare the migration of your properties. To connect the account and choose between creating a property or linking an existing one, follow Connect Airbnb to ZenHost.

Before you start

Identify properties already in ZenHost, listings still managed by another tool, future bookings and the history you need to keep. Plan the transition with support when needed; timing depends on the data and connections involved.

What gets imported

For each Airbnb listing you import, ZenHost creates a property record from the available data, including:

• The listing itself: title, full address (street, suite, city, postal code, state/region, country), GPS coordinates and timezone (auto-detected), property type (mapped from Airbnb categories), currency, deposit amount.
• Photos from the Airbnb listing.
• Amenities: property-level and room-level amenities, separated.
• Main room type.
• Main rate plan: base nightly rate, occupancy-based pricing, extra-person rate, minimum stay (configurable per day of week), check-in time.
• Local taxes detected via the postal code (city).
• The calendar for the next two years: availability, minimum stay per day, daily rates, closed-to-arrival and closed-to-departure flags.
• Link back to the original Airbnb listing.

Once imported, the listing is also wired into a channel that stays open for ongoing updates from Airbnb.

Check the migration

Compare photos, facilities, rates, taxes and dates with Airbnb. Check available future bookings and the arrival of new messages. Importing previous message threads and the entire booking history is not guaranteed. Keep access to your previous tool to consult them.

Importing photos and descriptions does not guarantee that later edits in ZenHost will be republished on Airbnb: see Where to manage what.

Complete the migration

• Import historical bookings from CSV for missing stays, after adapting the file and checking duplicates.
• Import prices and calendars from CSV to bring over values by date.
• Connect Booking.com to ZenHost, reusing the same property records.
• Connect Stripe for direct payments and deposits.
