Direct booking websites

Create a full website or embed the booking engine, manage content and domains, and share the public link.

Websites receive direct bookings in ZenHost. You can create several sites with their own property selection. Payment-processing fees and your plan's terms still apply.

Create and choose the mode

Under Websites, click Create website, enter a name and open its configuration:

  • Booking engine: search and booking flow, usable alone or embedded in your existing website.
  • Full website: a hosted showcase with content pages and access to booking.

Choose the mode, site template and properties or property groups for sale. Check currency and Stripe-account warnings. Link a booking-payments Stripe account to the properties before offering payment.

Content, languages and appearance

General settings include logo, logo visibility, style, colours and fonts. Custom CSS supports advanced adjustments.

In full-site mode, the Home, Services and About tabs let you edit showcase sections and multilingual content. Complete the available languages, text, images and visibility settings, then save each section. Also check the available search-engine titles and descriptions. Enable only sections whose content you have checked, especially testimonials.

Each property's descriptions and photos are edited in its property record. Showcase text and legal pages are managed at site level. These changes do not automatically publish the same content on Airbnb or Booking.com.

The full site's Legal tab contains publisher information and proposed wording. Review and complete prefilled values: saving legal information publishes the generated pages. Clearing it removes those pages. Custom text and translations must fit your business; having a template is not compliance validation.

Promo codes and analytics

Create a promo code with its type (fixed amount or percentage), value, dates and usage limit. After its first use, the code and type cannot be changed. These promotions apply to your direct site; they do not configure Airbnb or Booking.com promotions.

Custom JavaScript areas cover the head, body and thank-you page. Check the website after adding a script and apply consent settings appropriate to your tools.

Copy the hosted link shown in ZenHost: its standard path is /website/your-slug, not /book/your-slug. Check it after changing the slug.

For a custom domain, add it in the corresponding card, apply the displayed DNS records with your DNS provider, then check its status in ZenHost. Entering the domain name alone does not activate it. When active, the displayed link uses that domain; check the public page and booking flow before distributing it.

Embed the engine in another website

Copy the provided embed code and place it as instructed, before the closing </body> tag. Keep its website identifier and script address.

Script options are HTML attributes:

  • data-website-id: required identifier, already filled in the copied code.
  • data-hide-header="true": hides the engine's internal header.
  • data-hide-search="true": hides its search form.
  • data-lang: sets the initial language.

These are not parameters to append unchanged to the URL. Test the engine on mobile, a date search and access to payment, without making a real payment for a publication check.

Bookings and rates

Site bookings arrive in ZenHost; do not recreate them manually. The site uses property availability, rates and restrictions, including PriceLabs updates when configured. Airbnb/Booking.com channel-specific price adjustments do not become a site markup. See Rates.

Permissions and deletion

Your role needs Websites read, write or delete access for the relevant action. Deleting a site removes its public page; bookings already received remain in ZenHost. Also check links and embeds distributed elsewhere.
